Evergreen Devco, Inc., a leader in retail, multifamily, and industrial real estate development, has broken ground on The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing, a premier dining and entertainment destination in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. The Lookout will be located on the western portion of the Clear Creek Crossing mixed-use development at the southwest corner of I-70 and Highway 58. The 4.76-acre Lookout will feature a distinctive U-shaped design to frame the stunning views of Lookout Mountain with three buildings outlining a central and highly amenitized public park with a communal dining license. The tenant mix will include coveted local food and beverage concepts, Prost Brewing Co., The Agora at Applewood dining concepts, and HashTAG by Chef Troy Guard.

Frontline Design and Development and G3 Architecture designed the project’s buildings. The Lookout’s public park designed by Norris Design will include an agriculture-themed playground, community game lawn, fire pits, and a small amphitheater with a stage for live performances, movie screenings and other events. Martin/Martin are the civil engineers for the project.

“This new outdoor park isn’t just a beautiful place to take in the mountain views—it’s a space where our community can gather, connect, and enjoy the vibrancy of our growing city. It’s another step toward creating a more welcoming and dynamic environment for our residents and visitors alike,” said Steve Art, economic development manager at the City of Wheat Ridge.

Prost Brewing Co.

Prost Brewing Co. will occupy 6,800 square feet in the northern building. The Wheat Ridge Biergarten will feature Prost’s award-winning biers and authentic German cuisine alongside an expansive patio overlooking the public park.

“Wheat Ridge is a place with deep roots and a strong sense of community. We want the biergarten to reflect that—to be a place for people to gather together and share their lives over an authentically crafted bier and German-inspired food,” said Boyd Hoback, Prost’s director of biergartens. “The space is designed to showcase German bier culture, and with the modern amenities of The Lookout, it creates an unparalleled dining and entertainment destination.”

While entirely unique to the other locations in design and decor, Prost’s new biergarten will offer guests a true bier hall experience. Bier lovers can enjoy a 6,800 square-foot biergarten that includes an enclosed patio dining room for private events with a large patio boasting direct access to an adjacent park with a stage, small amphitheater, fire pits, games and large areas for children to play.

HashTAG

The southern building will feature HashTAG, the dynamic brunch concept from acclaimed restaurateur Troy Guard’s TAG Restaurant Group. It also includes 4,107 square feet of additional retail space that is available for lease. An open-air breezeway will connect the southern parking area to the Lookout’s central plaza.

“The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing represents exactly the kind of thoughtful, community-focused development that Wheat Ridge needs,” said Patrick Goff, city manager of Wheat Ridge. “This project will create a vibrant gathering place that enhances our city’s appeal while providing significant economic benefits.”

Construction is expected to be completed in late 2025. For leasing information about The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing, contact Heather Wiseman, senior vice president of leasing at Evergreen Devco at 303-656-8713 or hwiseman@evgre.com.
